Due diligence is a process whereby a consultant reviews all legal documents on a property or new development to ensure that all commitments made during marketing and everything that has been advertised will be honoured at the time of sale. All aspects of the property must be analyzed during this process.

Your Realty Smart Key certifies :
- Who owns the project, land and/or property?
- That the vendors are the owners and are free to sell.
- All necessary planning permissions have been granted and correctly followed.
- That the property has no outstanding debts.
- That there are no outstanding planning issues.
- That bank finance has been obtained.
- That there are no unusual conditions attached to the sale.
- The contracts are presented in English, French and Portuguese.
- That the builder has taken out a ten-year guarantee.
